It started with a watch enthusiast asking a simple question: what would a modern, genuine tool watch look like if you stripped out the nonsense and did it properly?

The name? Ontic means real, concrete, having actual being. Not theory. Not marketing fluff. Just something that is. That’s the kind of watch we set out to make.
