The case is TiX titanium (hardened to 1200 HV). 40% lighter than steel, 4x harder, corrosion-proof and built to shrug off real use.
Water resistance is 300 metres, with a screw-down crown and a unidirectional bezel you can easily grip and read when it matters. The dial is high contrast and properly legible in low light. Everything on it earns its place.
Inside, a Swiss solar movement runs on light and keeps time to within seconds a month. No winding. No battery swaps. No ritual. Just reliable timekeeping that looks after itself.

SWISS SOLAR QUARTZ
At the heart of the UTILITY 40 is the Swiss-made Ronda Solartech 215. It’s a solar-powered quartz movement built for accuracy and longevity.
Solar quartz is the logical choice for a proper tool watch. It keeps time to within seconds a month, shrugs off shocks, and never needs winding. When you’re relying on your kit, precision and simplicity matter more than ritual.
No winding, no batteries to change. Just a watch that quietly minds its own business.
TECHNOLOGY
TiX TITANIUM
The case of the UTILITY 40 is made from TiX. That’s the name we give to our specification of hardened titanium.
Starting with Grade 2 titanium, we add a diamond-like carbon surface that forms a dense outer layer roughly four times harder than steel, giving the case outstanding scratch resistance without adding weight. It’s not paint, it’s not plating, and it won’t wear off.
The result is a hypoallergenic and corrosion-proof material that’s 4x harder than steel yet 40% lighter.
That’s what makes the UTILITY 40 lighter than it looks, tougher than it needs to be, and calmly unimpressed by whatever you do to it.
